§ 56. Mr. Weatherillasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what advice the Treasury gave to the board of the Crown Cork Company regarding its dividend payment for 1966, in the light of the fact that profits for the year of £325,000 were disclosed.
§ Mr. MacDermotTreasury advice was that it did not seem to be imperative for this company to increase its distributions during the period of the voluntary dividend standstill.
