The amounts of the three elements of rate support grant payable to individual local authorities cannot be finally determined until after the conclusion of the year concerned when final information is available about the factors, such as population, expenditure and domestic rate products, on which the distribution of the grant depends. The provisional totals for Welsh local authorities for the year 1967–68 are as follows:—
