§ 35. Mr. Biffenasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will commission a departmental study to assess and publicly report on the practicability of replacing student grants wholly or partly by student loans.
§ Mr. CroslandThe whole question of student support is kept under review in my Department in the light of comments received from interested organisations. I do not think that a formal inquiry on this particular point would be the best way of proceeding.
