§ Mr. Cledwyn HughesMy right hon. Friend the Minister of Transport is at present considering the powers of the Regional Transport Authorities which were forecast in the White Paper on Transport Policy (Cmnd. 3057). In the short term, it is the function of the passenger transport co-ordinating committee for Wales to secure improvements in transport co-ordination by voluntary means. The Committee has close links with the Welsh Economic Council and the Welsh Planning Board.
