(2) how much has been paid in compensation in the last 10 years to German civilians in settlement of claims arising from the presence of the British Army of the Rhine.
§ Mr. BoydenIn the ten years ending 31st December, 1966, the total sum paid by the Ministry of Defence was about £5,650,000. This includes a figure of £2,100,000 in respect of loss or damage sustained during training or manoeuvres.
I regret that separate records of compensation to farmers are not maintained.
