asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government what support Her Majesty's Government will give to National Anti-Litter Week; and if he will make a statement.

The organisers (the Keep Britain Tidy Group) have an annual grant from the Exchequer and are assisted annually by the production of posters and other material which are available without charge to local authorities and other organisations.

My right hon. Friend is speaking at the opening of this Conference, which has the Government's best wishes for its success.
