§ Mr. MellishA circular giving advice to local authorities on rent rebate schemes will be published on 30th June. It will contain advice on the principles on which sound rent rebate schemes should be based and how those principles can be applied in practice. The circular has been discussed in draft with the local authority associations, who generally welcomed the proposal to issue advice on these lines.
