§ 19. Mr. Benceasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if he will make a statement on the recent visit to Czechoslovakia of the Minister of State.
§ Mr. George ThomsonI visited Czechoslovakia from 19th to 24th April at the invitation of the Czechoslovak Minister for Foreign Affairs. I had useful discussions in a very friendly atmosphere with Czechoslovak leaders, including the Prime Minister and the Foreign Minister, on increasing our trade and other exchanges and on seeking better East-West relations. I also paid a short visit to Slovakia.
