§ 71. Mr. Brewisasked the Minister of Transport what studies are being made of the feasibility of a tunnel under the North Channel between Scotland and Northern Ireland.
§ Mr. SwinglerA proposal for such a tunnel has been received by the Northern Ireland Government, whose officials have discused it with officials of this Department. The conclusion was that a tunnel was not technically feasible at present.
