§ Mr. Elystan Morganasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will amend his draft delimitation of the proposed area of the proposed Rural Development Board of Wales so as to include the whole of the County of Cardigan with the exception only of the boroughs of Aberystwyth, Cardigan and Lampeter and the town of Aberaeron.
§ Mr. PeartThe Secretary of State for Wales and I are at present consulting with local authorities and other interested bodies, as required by the Agriculture Act, 1967, as to the area which we should propose for a Rural Development Board in mid-Wales. We shall give full weight to any suggestions that they may make for the inclusion or exclusion of particular areas.

§ Mr. PeartAs soon as the statutory processes can be completed. These provide for initial consultations with local authorities and other interested bodies; publication of a formal proposal; the hearing of any objections; and the making of an order, with or without modifications, establishing a board.
