§ Mr. Juddasked the Minister of Technology what new arrangements he is making to ensure that the public gets value for money in large and complex contracts placed by his Department.
Mr. BeanThe principal change which is necessary is to secure equality of information and post-costing rights in contracts where prices are negotiated. I shall continue to keep my Department's procedures and organisation under close review.
