§ Mr. CroslandThe Local Government Act, 1966 provides for an increase in the level of rate support grant to local authorities when there has been an unforeseen increase in prices and the effect on the relevant expenditure of local authorities is substantial. If it is decided to make a rate support grant increase order the recent increase in the prices of milk will be taken into account.
