Mr. Macdonaldasked the Minister of Transport why she has proposed in Command Paper No. 3339 to replace volunteer motor cycle instructors by council officials, in view of the fact that these instructors being themselves young will better encourage young people to take motor cycle training courses.
§ Mrs. CastleThere is no intention to replace volunteer motor-cycle instructors by council officials. The Report of the Working Party on the Training of Learner Motor-Cyclists, which is being published separately, makes this clear.
