Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether, in deciding to maintain the £50 overseas travel allowance for 1967–68, he took into 49W consideration the fact that membership of the European Economic Community entails a free flow of currency in Europe; and how soon he expects to implement this procedure so far as holiday currency allowance is concerned.
