§ 66. Mr. Fletcher-Cookeasked the Minister of Transport whether she intends to include the proposed motorway from M62 to the north of Rawtenstall in the next list of schemes to be announced for preparation.
§ Mr. SwinglerWe have no plans for such a motorway. We are, however, considering the line and standard of construction for a bypass to the east of Bury which would eventually join the M62 and the Edenfield-Rawtenstall by-pass. Work on the latter is expected to start in a few months time.
