§ Mr. Urwinasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government whether he will state for the Year ending 31st December, 1966 in respect of development districts in the North-East and the number of application for grants for the clearance of derelict land, the number approved giving cost and acreage, the 160W number rejected and the number currently under consideration.
§ Mr. MacCollDuring the year ended 31st December, 1966, 18 applications were received. Of these, 3 involving 34 acres were approved for grant at a cost of £29,585, 8 involving 92 acres received outline approval and 7 covering 119 acres are under consideration. In addition, 10 other schemes submitted earlier and covering 132 acres received approval during the year at a cost of £144,759. No scheme was rejected.
