Mr. Pearson

asked the President of the Board of Trade if he is aware of the concern felt by his refusal to sanction the application of the York Trailer Company Limited for an extension to their factory at Llantrisant, Glamorgan, where nearby areas have a very high rate of unemployment; and if he will make a statement giving his reasons for pressing the company to occupy instead a vacant factory in England.
