§ Mr. Gwynfor Evans
asked the Minister of Power, in view of the fact that the cost of putting down coal brought to Welsh power stations from the English Midlands has the result that its final cost exceeds that of Welsh coal by 8s. per ton, if he will give a general direction to the Central Electricity Generating Board that only Welsh coal should be burnt in Welsh power stations.
§ Mr. Freeson
Coal movements to particular power stations are arranged by the Central Electricity Generating Board. My right hon. Friend does not intervene.
