Edenasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science whether he has now received advice from all the regional advisory councils for further education concerning any additions to be made to the list of polytechnics; and whether Bournemouth College of Technology and Commerce will be included in the list, in view of the high standards now being achieved by that college.
§ Mr. Goronwy RobertsMy right hon. Friend has now heard from all the Councils and he is considering their views together with the comments of other bodies. I cannot at this stage comment upon the claims of any particular college.
