§ Mr. Ogdenasked the Minister of Transport what decision she has made on the representations made to her by the motor industry for a change in the car registration year.
§ Mrs. CastleRepresentatives of the motor industry have told me that it would help them if the year letter incorporated in vehicle registration marks were changed on 1st August each year instead of 1st January. I have accepted this proposal and am asking licensing authorities to make the necessary change on 1st August, 1967.
