HC Deb 21 December 1967 vol 756 cc496-7W
Miss Harvie Anderson

asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government how many local authorities had their draft housing programmes reduced by him in 1966 on application for loan sanction, solely on the grounds that they were not a priority area; and whether he will list the local authorities concerned.

Mr. MacColl:

The programmes approved for non-priority areas are generally settled following consultation with the local authorities concerned well in advance of applications for loan sanction, and reductions in programmes do not normally occur at that stage.
