asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (1) what estimate he has made of the total cost of the proposed new transport taxation on the production of milk;

(2) what estimate he has made of the total cost of the proposed new transport taxation on the production of cereals;

(3) what estimate he has made of the total cost of the proposed new transport taxation on horticulture;

(4) what estimate he has made of the total cost of the proposed new transport taxation on beef production;

(5) what estimate he has made of the total cost of the proposed new transport taxation on the production of mutton and lamb;

(6) what estimate he has made of the total cost of the proposed new transport taxation on pigmeat production;

(7) what estimate he has made of the total cost of the proposed new transport taxation on cattle and pig feed meals.

Mr. Peart:

I cannot yet say how the proposed new charges on road haulage will affect agricultural and horticultural costs.
