Sinclairasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department, in view of the current annual rate of emigration from Great Britain to Australia of 90,000, to Canada of 63,000 and to New Zealand of 16,000 whether he will, as a measure of reciprocity, review facilities for Australians, Canadians and New Zealanders coming to Great Britain whether they are visiting or seeking work.
§ Mr. Ennals:No. The control under the Commonwealth Immigrants Act, 1962, applies to citizens of all Commonwealth countries. Our control places no obstacles in the way of the many visitors from Canada, Australia and New Zealand whom we are glad to welcome here every year.
