§ 51. Mr. John Hallasked the Minister of Technology if he will publish the source of the statistics available to his Department comparing productivity in Great Britain with other major industrial countries in terms of the number of men required in each country to achieve the same results.
§ Dr. BrayThere are no official statistics of international labour productivity comparisons of this sort available to the Department. Certain studies on productivity have been prepared by N.E.D.O. for individual industries which have some bearing on this matter and I am sending them to the hon. Member.
