§ Mr. Cledwyn HughesThe factors determining the growth of road traffic are many and complex and any forecast must necessarily be tentative. It is estimated that the general increase in traffic between now and 1980 will be in the region of 70 per cent. I have no basis for assuming either a higher or lower longterm rate of growth on this particular road.
