asked the President of the Board of Trade what study he has made of the effects of the withdrawal of export rebates and Selective Employment Tax premiums upon those manufacturers with long export order books based upon 72W taken over by manufacturing industry in the Newcastle and Newburn employment exchange areas totals 530 for males and 140 for females. The figures for the Tyneside group are 4,800 for males and 3,100 for females.
