§ Mr. Priorasked the Minister of Public Building and Works whether he is aware of the shortage of bricks in the Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth area; and whether he will take steps by consultation with the manufacturers and the suppliers to ensure that small builders have a better opportunity of receiving supplies.
§ Mr. Mellish:Although brick supplies generally are now satisfactory, I understand that some local delays may still occur for orders placed through merchants. No delays now exist for orders placed directly with the major producers.
