§ 63. Mr. Longdenasked the Minister of Overseas Development who will lead the United Kingdom delegation to the International Symposium on Industrial Development; and what benefits are expected to result from this three weeks' conference.
§ Mr. OramSir Eric Bingen, a former Deputy Chairman of Imperial Chemical Industries, is leading the Delegation. The Symposium is primarily for the benefit of developing countries, who will be able to explain their problems, and to learn the views of industrialised countries on such matters as preconditions for industrial investment.
