§ Mr. Bidwellasked the Minister of Transport what representation to British Railways, Southern Region, management was made by trade union representatives concerning the state of track, including the Hither Green area, two months before the train crash on 5th November.
§ Mr. CarmichaelSuch representations would be a matter between the Regional Railways Board and the unions, but the Chief Inspecting Officer is taking evidence from all concerned in this accident and I would ask my hon. Friend to await his report, which will be published.
