§ Mr. HealeyThe estimate of next year's defence expenditure is being calculated at contemporary prices and will be published in the 1968 Statement on the Defence Estimates. The figures of expenditure for the current year and for last year have not been revalued to bring them into line with this price base. Figures on a constant price basis (1964) are, however, available for 1966–67 and 1967–68 in the 1967 Statement on the Defence Estimates and for 1968–69 in the OFFICIAL REPORT of my speech during the debate on the Adjournment, 27th November.
