Mr. Dalyell

asked the Minister of Technology (1) what research he is doing into problems of the aerodynamic shape of bombs carried by supersonic military aircraft; and if he will state the cost of such research;

(2) what research he is doing into problems of complex spring-loaded fins, in relation to bombs used by supersonic military aircraft; and what is the cost of such research.

We have decided that none is needed.

asked the Minister of Technology what research he is doing into problems of air friction in relation to bombs carried by supersonic aircraft; and if he will estimate the cost of this research.

Research work is being done, but it would not be in the public interest to disclose details.
