HC Deb 14 April 1967 vol 744 cc275-6W
Mr. Winnick

asked the Minister of Health what plans are now being arranged to carry out other health weeks on similar lines to that held recently at Rotherham.

Mr. K. Robinson

I have recently discussed these health weeks with my hon. Friend the Member for Rotherham (Mr. O'Malley) representatives of the Council and the Medical Officer of Health. I am most interested in what is being done in Rotherham, but as I told my hon. Friend in reply to his Question on 21st November I am not satisfied on present evidence that this method of detecting disease should be recommended to local authorities generally. —[Vol. 736, c. 217.]
