HC Deb 12 April 1967 vol 744 c203W
82. Mr. Rankin

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what steps he proposes taking to deal with the rapidly worsening staffing situation in Glasgow schools with its sequential increase in part-time education for large numbers of the city's pupils; and whether, to meet this problem, he will adopt the recommendations of the Roberts Committee Report as suggested by the local association of the Educational Institute for Scotland in their letter to him dated 23rd March, 1967.

Mr. Ross

I would refer my hon. Friend to the replies given on 5th April to the hon. Members for Glasgow, Cathcart (Mr. Edward M. Taylor), Glasgow, Hillhead (Mr. Galbraith) and Glasgow, Pollok (Mr. Wright). —[Vol. 744, c. 224–5; c. 241.]
