84. Mr. Dodds-Parker

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what local naval forces are being trained to undertake sea defences of Aden when South Arabia attains independence.

Mr. George Thomson

With assistance from Her Majesty's Government the Federal Government is raising a small naval force for coastal protection after independence.

85. Mr. Goodhart

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he will enter into discussions with the South Arabian Federal Government about delaying the complete withdrawal of British forces from Aden until all Egyptian troops have left the Yemen.
