HC Deb 11 April 1967 vol 744 c174W
Mr. Woodburn

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether, in view of the out-of-date buildings and the difficult conditions under which medical and other research scientists have to work, he will consider converting redundant schools with their light classrooms as up-to-date laboratories.

Mr. Ross

Decisions on this matter are for the institutions concerned in consultation with education authorities; but if my right hon. Friend has any particular possibility in mind perhaps he will let me know.
