§ Mr. FreesonProposals for research are primarily a matter for the industries financing it. There is much collaboration in projects of common interest between the nationalised fuel industries themselves, and between them and private industrial firms. Co-ordination of this kind is a matter to which my right hon. Friend pays particular attention when reviewing the research programmes of the nationalised fuel industries with the help of the Advisory Council on Research and Development.
