HC Deb 11 April 1967 vol 744 c160W
Mr. Lubbock

asked the Minister of Power if he will place in the Library of the House of Commons a table showing the new generating stations expected to come into operation by the Central Electricity Generating Board in each of the five years 1967–68 to 1971–72, inclusive, and the plant expected to be taken out of commission in each of those years, giving for each of these stations the maximum output capacity in megawatts.

Mr. Marsh

Information on plant expected to come into operation in the next five years ahead is published annually in the C.E.G.B.'s Annual Report. Decisions on plant to come out of service in the period 1967–72 will be taken in the light of the total generating capacity available to meet the demand at any particular time.
