§ Mr. Joseph SlaterThe council asked us not to close this office early on Saturday as it is a busy market day in Malton. We have replied that the office is busy on Saturday up to 4 p.m. but that there is a marked decline in business thereafter. We should not therefore be justified in keeping the office open later than 4.30 p.m.
