Mr. Edward M. Taylorasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will outline the arrangements he has made with the nationalised industries for the refund 57W of Selective Employment Tax; and what time will elapse between payment of the tax and the payment of the refund.
§ Mr. MacDermotRepayments will be made at fixed intervals which will vary from industry to industry to take account of the interval at which the tax is actually paid. The time between payment of the tax and payment of refunds will not normally be longer than one month.
