§ Mr. Cledwyn HughesAs I stated in reply to a Question by the hon. Member for Carmarthen (Mr. Gwynfor Evans) on 24th October [Vol. 734, col.123], I think the interests of Wales are at present well served by participation in the National Parks Commission. The Government's intentions in regard to the reconstitution of the Commission as a Countryside Commission for England and Wales were set out in the White Paper "Leisure in the Countryside" (Cmnd. 2928).
