In Great Britain, where enforcement duties in connection with weights and measures are discharged by local authorities, the Board of Trade employed 24 full-time civil servants in July, 1965, and 28 in July, 1966: there were250W
no part-time staff. In Northern Ireland the Ministry of Commerce employed 23 full-time and 2 part-time staff on weights and measures work at both the above dates.
