§ Mr. John MorrisHighway authorities are strongly recommended in Chapter 5 of the Traffic Signs Manual to make extensive use of road markings because these materially add to the safety of traffic and ensure full and proper use of road space. They are also advised about the appropriate use of road studs and of reflectorised paint for road markings.
