§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what was the purpose of the visits made to Roumania, Bulgaria and Israel by the Minister of State on the 2nd October, 1965; and what results accrued from these visits.
§ Mrs. WhiteMinisters made all the journeys referred to by my hon. Friend in order to improve our relations with the Governments of the countries visited and to have an opportunity for personal exchanges of views with members of those Governments.
