§ Mr. George ThomsonMy visit to Hungary at the beginning of this month provided a welcome opportunity for an exchange of views on subjects of common interest and demonstrated that the Hungarian Government attach importance, as do we, to the continued improvement of our relations.
I pressed strongly about the need for progress in settling the outstanding bonded debt. As my right honourable Friend the Foreign Secretary said on the 24th of October, there was no question of my entering into detailed negotiations.—[Vol. 734, c. 106.]
