The average weekly earnings of adult male manual workers in manufacturing and other industries and services covered by the Ministry's half-yearly inquiries in the Eastern and Southern region, which includes West Suffolk, were £20 9s. 10d. in April, 1966, the latest date for which information is available, compared with £19 0s. 1d. in April, 1965.
