asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what consideration he is giving to the representations made to him on the effects of the Selective Employment Tax on food distribution.

Mr. Peart

All representations made to me about the effect of the tax on food prices are fully investigated. It is too early to judge what effects the tax is likely to have on food distribution.
