§ Mr. Ron Lewisasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department, in view of the fact that drug trafficking among young people is increasing, if he will introduce legislation to empower local authorities to exercise control over coffee bars and similar places to prevent this.
§ Miss BaconMy right hon. Friend does not have such a proposal in mind a t present, but he is studying the adequacy of the existing controls on the supply of drugs, and if my hon. Friend has detailed suggestions to make for curbing illicit traffic my right hon. Friend will be glad to consider them.
