§ Mr. Wallasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what decisions he has made regarding the Littlewood Committee's recommendations on the repeal of the existing provisions regarding experiments on cats and dogs and their replacement by more stringent rules.
§ Miss BaconThe Committee's recommendation on this matter, as on many others, would require legislation. My right hon. Friend is studying the views of interested bodies on the recommendations, and will consult them further before framing proposals for legislation.
