§ 56. Mr. Deedesasked the President of the Board of Trade why an industrial development certificate was refused to a firm, the name of which has been sent to him, to build a factory at Ashford, Kent.
§ Mr. JayBecause it was considered that the development could not be carried out consistently with the proper distrition of industry. Following an appeal from the firm the refusal is being reconsidered, and I will write to the hon. Member as soon as possible.
