§ Mr. HealeyA detachment of Transport Command is providing an airlift with Britannia aircraft from Nairobi to Zambia, partly to meet the fuel requirements of the air defence force in Zambia and partly to supply oil products for the civil economy. A detachment of Shackletons is based at Majunga to assist in the surveillance of the sea approaches to Beira. The cost of the R.A.F. oil airlift to date has been about £1.75 million including the cost of supplying fuel for the aid defence force. The cost of the R.A.F. surveillance operations is not yet available.
